LIST OF SHOWS - ENTRIES FOR FJORD HORSES

ALL KNOWN SHOWS CANCELLED FOR 2020 DUE TO COVID 19

As Shows Advisor & Joint Co-ordinator of show fixtures for FHNSA of GB I am pleased to announce

a list of shows with Fjord entries for the 2014 Summer Season.

I am a saddler by trade & specialised in side-saddles so any saddle related problems I will be happy to advise on. I was also a SSA panel judge for many years. I was brought up around horses & enjoyed all disciplines. I competed for many years until I started a family & took a back seat until recently.

If FHNSA of GB Owners would like to inform me of any up & coming shows, I can have them put them on the FHNSA of GB website where it would be helpful to others. I am here to answer any questions & be of help regarding correct turn out/tack, etiquette etc. Contact me on sallyproe@fjord-horse.co.uk . Do please keep your questions to showing related matters which is where my expertise lies. Any other matters should be sent to the office on info@fjord-horse.co.uk

We are pleased to announce that we have been invited to attend the prestigious ALL THE QUEENS HORSES on New Year's Day in London.

'All The Queen's Horses', fjords invited to take part in the New Year's Day Parade,

London 2014

DO COME
There has been enormous interest in the Parade which has grown and grown. It is an enjoyable start to the New Year. Having said that, there are not many spaces so if you want to come, arrange it now or it might be too late.

How it Began in 2012 with the Queen's 'Diamond Jubilee & London 2012 Olympics

'.... with only 6 weeks to pull together a massive team of horses, what a success it was, only brought about by the QUEEN'S LOVE of HORSES. This, IS WHERE IT ALL Began... and WE DID IT!'
'All the Queen's Horses Parade' at the New Year's Day Parade was originally masterminded by Caroline Marsh.

'All the Queen's Horses' Parade began in 2012. They were invited back in 2013 and now again for 2014

Our Fjord fancy dress theme is GOLDFINGER

PARADE ROUTE
The Parade begins outside The Ritz in Piccadilly at 11.45, proceeds to Piccadilly Circus, turning right into Regent Street, then Pall Mall and into Whitehall where the Parade ends. Horses then proceed to Horse Guard's Parade for photo and interview opportunities before riding down The Mall to the Gates of Buckingham Palace for more photos. This gives the riders and organisers an opportunity to meet their sponsors, supporters and friends as well as the many tourists.

We are sure we don't need to tell our wonderful owners to behave with decorum as we know you will. Yes, we do know some of you may be hung over or in a delicate state. Do remember, you are representing the breed as well as your society. Yes, yes OK, lecture over.
